FAQ
Before you start
Do I need a credit card to try it?
No. Every new shop gets the Shop plan free for 7 days, no card needed. After that, pick a plan or stay on Free, and nothing is deleted. Setup takes under 10 minutes.
Can I send e-Invoices to LHDN?
Not yet. LHDN e-Invoice is coming soon, and we will tell every shop before it goes live. Bukku accounting sync is coming soon too.
Do my customers need to install an app?
No. They get status updates on WhatsApp and can check their job on a status page.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. TeraFix runs in the browser on phones, tablets and PCs. Just open terafix.my.
Is it available in Bahasa Malaysia?
Yes. TeraFix is in English by default, and you can switch to Bahasa Melayu at any time.
Who owns my shop’s data?
You do. Export your customers, jobsheets, invoices and stock to Excel or CSV whenever you like, on every plan.
What happens if I downgrade or stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. Your records stay and you can still read and export them. You just can’t add new work beyond what your plan allows until you upgrade again.
What happens when I reach my storage or AI credit limit?
We warn you at 80% and at 100%. At the limit, new photo uploads or AI actions pause; everything already saved stays available. Upgrade, or top up AI credits at RM10 for 500.
Is my shop’s data safe?
Your data is stored in Singapore, backed up daily, and each shop can only see its own records. Your business records are kept for at least 7 years, as Malaysian law requires. If a data breach ever affects you, we tell you and the regulator within 72 hours. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
Who is responsible for my tax and e-Invoice filings?
TeraFix works out SST on your invoices, and will send e-Invoices once that feature launches. Your shop stays responsible for the details it enters, such as TIN, MSIC code and SST registration, and for its own tax filings. We recommend checking with your accountant.
Can I import my old stock and customers?
Yes. Import customers and stock from Excel or CSV, or let us do it for you during free on-site setup.
